Seabourn Pursuit Sails On Its Inaugural Voyage
Seabourn Pursuit, the second ultra-luxury expedition ship by Seabourn, embarked on its inaugural voyage on Saturday, welcoming its first guests. The voyage marks the beginning of an eight-day journey from Valletta, Malta, to Rome.
As the second of Seabourn's two new expedition vessels launched in the last two years, Seabourn Pursuit is purpose-built for exceptional experiences in ultra-luxury comfort. It offers renowned fine dining, entertainment, spacious suites, and personalized onboard service.
Natalya Leahy, President of Seabourn, highlighted the new ship's significance: "Our guests will explore remote destinations, guided by our expert team, and experience our signature ultra-luxury style aboard our beautiful new ship."
Seabourn Pursuit provides a luxurious small ship experience, complete with a 24-person expedition team leading various activities. The ship is designed for diverse environments, adhering to PC6 Polar Class standards, and is equipped with modern technology, including a 4K GSS Cineflex Camera for broadcasting imagery.
With over 30,000 square feet of deck space and indoor/outdoor guest areas offering panoramic views, Seabourn Pursuit offers an elegant ambiance. The ship will undertake Mediterranean and Atlantic voyages from August to October, followed by expedition journeys to South America, the Amazon, and Antarctica until March 2024.
Post the Antarctic season, the ship will explore the South Pacific, including the Kimberley region in Australia, known for its red sandstone gorges and Aboriginal heritage.
